FARGO, ND — Downtown Fargo’s BernBaums is suddenly shuttering their doors after an alleged threat with an ice pick between a co-owner and an employee, according to a police report filed over the weekend.
The co-owner, identified as Brett Bernath, is accused of being involved in a heated argument with the unnamed employee. Police claim Bernath put his hands on the employee’s throat and threatened him with an ice pick. Additionally, the employee is accused of attempting to punch Bernath.
The police report indicated there was no evidence of a crime. Following the incident, BernBaums suddenly closed their business.
