Prosecution Rests In Murder Trial of Kamauri Kennedy

The prosecution is resting its case in the murder trial of Kamauri Kennedy. The 35-year-old Kennedy is standing trial in connection with the death of Dominique Kelly, whose body was found inside her burned vehicle in 2021. Jurors heard testimony on Monday from an ATF agent, as well as investigators from the Minot and Saint Paul Police Departments. An associate of Kennedy who is in federal prison for meth distribution was also brought in to testify. Ashley Gibson was leasing a mobile home that was burned down less than 24 hours after Kelly was killed. The defense will begin presenting its case today.
