Identity of Man Shot During Standoff Released

The name of the man shot by authorities during a standoff in Western Minnesota has been released.  The man, Kasey Willander, was wounded by deputies and police on Saturday during a 15-hour siege. He is hospitalized in stable condition at HCMC and is expected to survive. His mother called authorities after Willander was thought to be acting strangely with a knife and bow. Authorities say he also shot at officers.  The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
