North Dakota is 6th in Increasing Student Loan Delinquency

BISMARCK, ND — North Dakota ranks 6th overall when it comes to Increasing Student Loan Delinquency in the latest WalletHub study.

There are 29 states where the delinquency rate on student loans is increasing the most. The numbers are from the first half of the year. In North Dakota, there’s a 15% increase in the share of Student Loans Tradelines Delinquent.

The state that has the highest share of delinquent student loans is Maine at 160% followed by Louisiana at 157%. Idaho has .58% which is the lowest in the country.
