FARGO, ND — Fargo Public Works is already preparing for winter.
Employees are repairing equipment and analyzing routes to make sure they’re ready to clear the roads when winter weather arrives.
In the 2023 winter season, Fargo Public Works say they were able to save hundreds of thousands of dollars for the city due to a dip in high-snow days. This dip allowed the snow plows to receive extra repairs and rest, compared to the need constant use in 2022.
