(WASHINGTON, DC) — The Federal Reserve has announced a cut in interest rates — for the first time in more than four years.
The Reserve announced Wednesday it will cut rates by one-half of a point.
The decision lowers the federal funds rate to a range of between 4.75 percent to five percent.
