Fargo woman hospitalized and charged after being run over on I-94 in vehicle crash

FARGO, ND — A Fargo woman is seriously injured after a motorcycle crash on I-94 in the city.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says it occurred between University Drive and the Red River Bridge during standstill traffic – temporarily paused by construction delays. The motorcycle tipped as it was slowing in the construction zone, throwing 38-year-old Jenna Olmstead off the vehicle. She was then ran over by a vehicle carrying a camper trailer, driven by a California resident.

Olmstead is hospitalized with serious, non-life threatening injuries. She faces a DUI charge, and also is charged with driving another vehicle other than permitted by license.
