(St. Paul, MN) – Seatbelt usage in Minnesota is the highest it’s been in a decade.
That’s according to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
The agency says its annual seatbelt survey shows usage was at more than 94-percent for this year. That’s the best rate since 2013, when nearly 95-percent of people indicated they buckle up. Officials say the increase is encouraging, but say the goal is for every person in the state to wear their seatbelt.
