North Dakota State senior quarterback Cam Miller has been named the Missouri Valley Football Conference Offensive Player of the Week. The league office announced the honor Monday, September 2.
Miller was honored for his season-opening performance at Colorado. The fifth-year from Solon, Iowa totaled 358 yards of offense. He completed 18-0f-22 passes for a career-high 277 yards and one touchdown, along with carrying the ball 16 times for 81 yards and two touchdowns.
This is the second time Miller has earned the MVFC Offensive Player of the Week award.
Miller and north Dakota State (0-1) will return to the Fargodome for the home opener against Tennessee State (1-0) on Saturday afternoon. Kickoff is slated for 2:30 p.m. on September 7.
