The Minnesota Twins were swept by the Atlanta Braves after falling 5-1 on Wednesday night.
David Festa struck out seven batters over six innings while only giving up two runs, eventually being tagged with the loss. Wili Castro drove in Minnesota’s lone run in the game.
The Twins are off on Thursday before welcoming the Toronto Blue Jays to Target Field for a weekend series beginning on Friday evening.
Minnesota is currently in third in the AL Central 2 ½ games behind second place Kansas City and 3 ½ games behind division-leading Cleveland.
