WDAY RADIO — A new report says Iran’s Ayatollah is ordering an attack on Israel in retaliation for the killing of a Hamas leader.
Iranian sources tell the New York Times Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has issued an order for Iran to strike Israel directly, in retaliation for Wednesday’s killing of senior Hamas commander Ismail Haniyeh. Khamenei reportedly gave the order yesterday morning at an emergency meeting of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, shortly after Haniyeh was killed in Tehran.
Israel neither admitted nor denied killing the Hamas leader.
