FBI Director provides new details on Trump assassination attempt

(Washington, DC) — The FBI Director is providing new details about the assassination attempt on former President Trump earlier this month.

During testimony Wednesday, Christopher Wray told the House Judiciary Committee that a week before Trump’s rally the shooter searched for how far away Lee Harvey Oswald was when he shot President Kennedy in 1963. He also detailed how the shooter flew a drone about 200 yards from the rally’s stage for around eleven minutes just two hours before Trump walked on stage.

Investigators have also determined the shooter used an AR-style rifle bought from his father.
