Today Wednesday 7/17/24 and tomorrow Thursday 7/18/24 look to be some of the best days of summer for those who stray away from the really hot and humid weather. Don’t worry if you like it hotter and more humid, I got it in the forecast!
A lot of sunshine is expected over the next couple of days with high temperatures reaching into the mid 70s today, light north winds around 5-10 mph, and low humidity. Tonight will be a bit cool but nothing crazy, low 50s clear skies, and light wind switching more southerly into Thursday. Another great day follows on Thursday, more sunny skies with slightly warmer high temperatures in the lower 80s, light south winds, and again low humidity. Temperatures will hold fairly steady in the 80s as we round out the week on Friday. More haze will unfortunately funnel back into the area and rain chances will tick up as we head into the weekend but still dry hours and not every location is going to see rain. Slow moving scattered pop-up showers and some thunderstorms are likely to develop through the afternoon of Saturday, outside of the rain I expect partly cloudy to partly sunny skies, light winds, and a bit more humid with highs in the 80s. Much the same for Sunday but less showers around the area but still a few hit-or-miss slow moving showers.
As for next week, humidity looks to set in place with highs in the 80s to 90s with light winds. Not every day but several days we will likely see isolated pop-up showers and or thundershowers.
