DETRIOT LAKES, MN — The identity of a Fargo man who was discovered unresponsive and not breathing on a Detroit Lakes beach on Saturday has been released to the public.
The Becker County Sheriff’s Office says Sterling Arias Bucholz went underwater in the area near Zorbaz and disappeared, prompting a call to authorities. After a brief search by deputies and citizens, a Samaritan found an incapacitated Bucholz. First responders took him to a nearby hospital, and remains there in unknown condition at this time.
The incident remains under investigation.
