(Silvis, IL) — Davis Thompson earned his first career TOUR victory after winning the 2024 John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run.
Thompson finished atop the leaderboard with a 28 under par for the tournament. He is the 24th player to make the John Deere Classic his first TOUR win. Thompson took home $1.44 million in earnings.
Three players finished tied for second place in Michael Thorbjornsen, Luke Clanton and CT Pan who were all 24 under par. Ben Griffin and Carson Young tied for fifth at 23 under. Defending champion Sepp Straka finished tied for 61st at eight under par.
The tour will head to Scotland from July 11-14 for the Genesis Scottish Open.
