(Crane Lake, MN) — A scuba diver has died while working to pull a piece of machinery out of a northern Minnesota lake.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says the 50-year-old died yesterday at Crane Lake.
Investigators say a group was trying to recover equipment that was about 70 feet underwater.
He was pulled to shore after he failed to resurface and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff’s office is investigating the man’s death.
