(West Fargo, ND) — Helping to bring a big box retailer to West Fargo is considered a highlight for outgoing City Commissioner Mark Simmons.
“Getting Costco to town, that was a tough one to get through. That was probably honestly, that is the best thing that West Fargo ever did, as far as economic development and bringing funding and revenue to our community, that was huge for us,” said Simmons.
Simmons is calling it quits after 20 years on the commission. He said “it’s time for a change” and said it’s “time to give our citizens some new blood on the commission”.
