(Boston, MA) — The Boston Celtics have taken a 2-0 series lead in the NBA Finals.
Boston defeated the Dallas Mavericks 105-98 in Game Two at TD Garden. Jrue Holiday led the charge with 26 points and 11 rebounds, while Jaylen Brown finished with 21 points and seven assists. Jayson Tatum was just shy of recording a triple-double, finishing with 18 points, 12 assists and nine boards. The Celtics are now two wins away from their first NBA championship since 2008.
Luka Doncic paced Dallas with 32 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists.
The series continues with Game Three on Wednesday in Dallas.
