(WDAY Radio) — North Dakota country music duo Tigirlily Gold has won their first Academy of Country Music award.
Krista and Kendra Slaubaugh of Hazen won “New Duo or Group of the Year”.
“We just won our first ACM AWARD!!! This is 11 years of long days, short nights, ups and downs, and never giving up. Thank you to the @acmawards for this incredible honor. We are absolutely beside ourselves. More to come later…,” wrote Tigirlily Gold in a social media post.
Tigerlily Gold was one of three nominees in the category.
