ND Public Service Commission votes for no delay in Summit Carbon Solutions after request

(Bismarck, ND) — A  meeting is seeing some scheduling conflicts among attorneys in meetings with county and pipeline officials.

The North Dakota Public Service Commission held a vote Wednesday morning on if a delay should be issued in the Summit Carbon Solutions pipeline project. The delay was requested by attorneys representing Burleigh County, who said there was a scheduling conflict. The meeting with Summit Carbon Solutions, set for April 22nd, would be for the Burleigh County Attorneys to ask questions to the pipeline company in a non-public hearing setting.

An additional virtual meeting for the attorneys has the potential to be held if questions persist beyond the April 22nd meeting. The virtual meeting would take place prior to the public hearing in Wahpeton on May 24th. The meetings are part of the Public Service Commission’s reconsideration of the permit application for Summit Carbon Solution’s pipeline.
