The Minnesota Twins picked up a draw and a loss during their split squad double-header in Spring Training yesterday.
Louie Varland tossed four scoreless innings in a 1-1 tie against the St. Louis Cardinals, while Matt Wallner hit a two-run home run during a 4-3 loss to the Rays. Jeff Brigham was charged with the loss in relief.
Bailey Ober starts for Minnesota against Toronto on Thursday afternoon.
