More Warm Temperatures For This Warm December

December has been a delightfully warm month as temperatures have averaged nearly 10 degrees above normal!

Above-average temperatures look to continue as well through the week ahead and even into the following! Temperatures this Thursday will rise back into the 40s then drop into the 30s for the upcoming weekend.
Here is Fargo’s 7-Day forecast ( 12/12/23 – 12/18/23 )

Next week, more above average temperatures continue with mainly 30s and a few 40s possible. For reference average highs in Fargo ND, are about 25 degrees. Starting near 30 degrees at the beginning of the month and ending near 19 degrees.

No big storms are in the forecast for this week or next week. A ‘minor’ disturbance will bring a slight chance for some light snow/rain mix on Friday evening and Friday night. I am keeping my eye on around the Christmas time frame as long range models are now picking up on a possible bigger storm, which happens to fall in line with a storm chance on the LRC calendar. More on that later on.
