It’s been awhile since we’ve seen an “all day soaker” but that’s what some of us had on Sunday. A nice soaking rain spread over the southern valley bringing some beneficial rains to areas south of 94. Some of the driest areas around the tri-state area picked up 1-3″ of rainfall. This was much needed rain for our soybeans and corn. How are we doing on moisture? Well in Fargo, since June 1st, we are just about 1/3″ ABOVE normal. Overall, it’s been a pretty “normal” growing season. Not everyone can say that, but overall it’s been ok. The next week to 10 days looks pretty dry as we start our “rollercoaster” ride of temps. We are not done with the 90s quite yet as I see a few “bursts” of heat with temps briefly returning to the 90s before Canadian air snips it off.
