(Minneapolis, MN) — Kyle Farmer is back with the Twins less than a month after taking a fastball to the face.
The Twins infielder was activated from the ten-day injured list yesterday. Farmer missed 25 games after he was hit in the face by a pitch from Lucas Giolito during Minnesota’s game against the White Sox on April 12th. The 32-year-old needed 35 stitches and had four root canals.
In a corresponding move, Minnesota sent Jose Miranda down to Triple-A St. Paul.
