(FARGO, ND) – Fargo Police are investigating a disturbance early Sunday morning.
They were called at just before 1 a.m. to the 50 block of Broadway North on a report of a disturbance involving a firearm. When officers arrived, they determined both the suspect and victim fled the scene.
Later in the morning, officers responded to a local healthcare facility, where they located the victim. Non-life-threatening injuries were being treated, and police say there was no evidence of a gunshot wound.
Police, working with the Metro Street Crimes Unit, identified the suspect as 28-year-old Daniel Scott of Fargo. He was arrested and faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated reckless endangerment, felon in possession of a firearm and a protection order violation.
The investigation is ongoing.
