Minnesota Congressional Republicans call on House Ethics, Administration Committees to review potential violations by fellow Congresswoman

WASHINGTON, DC) – Minnesota Congressional Republicans Michelle Fischbach, Tom Emmer, Brad Finstad and Pete Stauber are asking a pair of House committees to review conduct by Congresswoman Angie Craig for potential House rules violations.

The violation involves using official resources to promote political events, the Representatives said. She penned an op-ed from official office announcing she would be holding ‘town halls’ in the four U.S. House Congressional Districts represented by Republicans, excluding the three other U.S. House Congressional Districts represented by Democrats.

Craig told media, after a recent town hall in St. Cloud, Minn., that taxpayer money was not being used for the town halls.
