Trio of first period goals powers Wild past Golden Knights in Game Two

The Minnesota Wild took down the Vegas Golden Knights 5-2 on Tuesday night.

Matt Boldy, Marcus Foligno, and Mats Zuccarello all scored in the first period as Minnesota led 3-0 after the frames. Kirill Kaprizov led the offensive attack scoring the other two goals while also adding an assist.

Filip Gustavsson saved 30 of the 32 shots he faced in between the pipes. The Wild only took 16 shots on net, but were able to find the back of the net five times.

The best-of-seven series is now tied 1-1. The series will now shift to St. Paul for Game Three on Thursday night beginning at 8 p.m. on TBS.
