(GRAND FORKS, ND) – The Grand Forks City Council will decide whether or not to restructure the Grand Forks Public Service Answering Point (PSAP) under the Grand Forks Fire Department.
The recommendation from the Grand Forks Committee of the Whole is to approve the restructuring, which would then end the Joint Powers Agreement and replace it with user agreements for the agencies in which use the service.
The change comes after a mutual separation agreement was signed between the former Director of the PSAP in late March.
The recommendation comes with a neutral impact to the budget.
