Fargo Police arrest assault suspect after victim suffers serious injuries

(FARGO, ND) – Fargo Police have arrested a suspect after an assault was reported to officers.

The assault was reported in the 3300 block of 42nd Street South. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 26-year-old man with a stab wound. The victim was transported to the hospital in serious but not life-threatening condition.

Police then established a perimeter in the neighborhood and utilized a K9 unit to attempt to locate and apprehend the suspect, as well as deploying a drone to search the area. Police arrested a suspect several hours later. It was determined that the suspect and the victim were known to each other.

The incident remains under investigation.
