RED LAKE, Minn. – The death of an inmate at the Red Lake Jail is under investigation.
Robin Hanson was found dead last week in the facility’s detention center.
He was in custody for almost three weeks on a charge of aiding and abetting his wife who faced a trespass charge.
Hanson is the third inmate to die at the jail since 2022.
The Bureau of Indian Affairs is assisting in the investigation.
