(REGION) – Much of the region woke up to snow on the ground Sunday morning.
The National Weather Service says areas of the Red River Valley received anywhere between one and nearly seven inches of snowfall.
The highest snowfall totals reported were two miles north of Crookston, where 6.8 inches of snow were reported. Mayville reported 6.5 inches of snow. As of 7 a.m., Grandin reported 2.5 inches of snow.
