The Minnesota Wild edged the Colorado Avalanche 2-1 in a shootout on Tuesday night.
Mats Zuccarello scored Minnesota’s only goal in regulation. Matt Boldy and Zuccarello each scored in the shootout. Filip Gustavsson saved 27 of the 28 shots he faced in net.
Minnesota improved to a record of 37-24-4 on the season. The Wild will now host the New York Rangers on Thursday night.
