U.S. House passes bill aiming to tackle antisemitism

(Washington, DC)  --  The House is passing legislation that aims to to crack down on antisemitism.  

It passed 320-91 as pro-Palestinian protests continue to impact college campuses throughout the country. The bill requires the Department of Education to adopt the definition of antisemitism used by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance in its enforcement of anti-discrimination laws. Critics argue the definition is too broad and could lead to censorship.

The bill's chances in the Senate are unclear.
