(Charlotte, NC)  --  Four law enforcement officers are dead and at least four others are injured after a shootout in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Chief Johnny Jennings says the officers were part of a fugitive task force serving a warrant at a home on Monday, when a suspect opened fire.  The first suspect was killed, but another person inside the home soon started firing.
