FARGO – A body was found in the Red River in Fargo Thursday night. Police were called to the 1400 block of Elm St. N. at around 9:45p.m. after a passerby spotted a person in the river. An officer located a man dead in the river in the 1400 block of Elm St. Firefighters assisted police in removing the body from the river.
The person’s name is being with-held until next-of-kin is notified. Police are still investigating.
